Turn to the Crumpler 6 Million Dollar Home photography bag, which looks like a hip messenger bag but holds a digital SLR camera, two lenses, and external speedlight all at once. The 6 Million Dollar Home bag is tough and long-lasting, with a water-resistant 900D shell and a 300D ripstop lining. The interior, meanwhile, is spacious and versatile, with a nylon-lined main compartment with six configurable dividers, an external pocket with an internal mesh pocket, two internal side pockets, two external accessory attachment straps, and a mesh zip pocket underneath the clip-and-Velcro release flap. And to keep you comfortable during a long day of shooting, the bag includes a carrying handle and an adjustable shoulder strap with a shoulder pad. The 6 Million Dollar Home bag is suitable for such items as a digital SLR camera, vertical grip and "twin lens kit," external flash unit and basic accessories, or a DV cam and accessories. | Customer Reviews: Fantastic Bag July 20, 2010 Milton Hee (Honolulu, HI) I normally wear a backpack but wanted a smaller shoulder bag to carry my 5D MK II, maybe a flash and a couple of lenses. This bag is perfect for that. It's just the right size for a day of shooting. The shoulder strap is more comfortable than it looks and I can carry the bag on my shoulder all day. The velcro dividers are easy to pull off and the velcro outside cover is a winner when you don't want to use the clips which I hardly ever do.I've gone through several shoulder bags but this one is a keeper.
Crumpler 6 Million Dollar Home July 11, 2010 L. S. Brown (Seattle, WA) I picked this up via 'Amazon Warehouse Deals' as an open box item. It arrived about a week prior to the scheduled delivery date and by all appearences looked brand new with no blemishes whatsoever. It's worked perfectly for a Nikon D90, 35mm/50mm 1.8 prime lenses, a Canon PS camera and a flip mino, in addition to having extra space for my cellphone or sunglasses etc. The Velcro silencers are great and the bag has been comfortable to wear around 'as is' without any extra padding for the strap. It's definitely padded well enough to feel secure about the equipment stored inside staying safe.
The best of its category so far... June 10, 2010 Marcio Esteves (Brazil) I have several other bags from all manufacturers but none compare to the simplicity, well build and design of Crumpler. It was a great surprise when I received the bag and put my Nikon 70-300, D700+grip mounted with Sigma 18-70 2.8 (82mm filters), SB-900 and a Sony Handycam all inside! And this bag does not look like a photo gear bag at all.. For a day-trip where you don't need all your lenses, flashes, etc, THIS IS THE BAG.
Good enough for me ( an amateur) June 8, 2010 Leninwtigger (Davis, CA) I love it. The colors, the design, the movable panels and the many pockets. It fits my Nikon D5000, a 18-50, a 55-200 and a 18-200, extra battery, remotes (wired and wireless) and filters. That way, I can carry all of that when I travel.
If your equipment is similar (in size) this bag will fit you.
Well designed. May 5, 2010 oriole (illinois) The bag is well thought out and does not look like a "gear" bag. The interior has re-arrangeable section to configure the space. It looks good and is nondescript in public. Others complained of the loud velcro closures. My bag came with 'silencers' so you could just use the buckles. This was a nice option. Use the Velcro for travel and transport then the silencers for you kids play or a wedding. Just a good bag all-around. (Carries Canon T2i with short lens - but could do the zoom, two lens - both medium zoom, battery charger, and misc cables).
